Dr.S.Sahayaselvi

I am Dr.(Sr).S.Sahayaselvi, working in the Department of Commerce, Holy Cross College (Autonomous), Nagercoil for the past 16 years. I have published 50 + papers in the refereed journals with high impact factors, UGC care list: group I and group II. I have attended several national and international seminars and published 13 papers in various proceedings. I have gone as a resource person to various schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu which includes 3 talks in the radio station in Konam, Kanyakumari District. I was the Head of the department for the past 10 years in the self-financed stream and currently, I serve as an assistant professor in the aided stream. I have cleared the NET exam in 2011. I’m also a professional counselor. To my credit, I have completed 2 minor projects and published two books. I’m a research guide from 2017 to till date. I’m a proud recipient of many prestigious awards like Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Rastriya Puraskar-2019 by Glacier Journal Research Foundation, Global Management Council, Ahmedabad; Best Professor Award 2020 by ESN IND-SL International Award, Kandy, Sri Lanka, and Distinguished Women -2020 by Venus International Foundation, Chennai, Research Excellence Award by Institute of Researchers, Waynad, Kerala to name a few. I’m a religious nun belonging to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod, France. At present, I’m the founder of CrossCom A to Z Tailoring Unit for Women under the Start-up scheme of MHRD.I am the President of Holy Cross Innovation and Incubation Centre.I am also Vice president of IIC and Coordinator of National Innovation Startup Policy.
